Job Description:

All porters are expected to proactively assist guests and handling agents through a solution focused approach. They may also provides safe and courteous wheelchair services to various airline passengers with disabilities, while complying with the airport policies, airline procedures and other regulations. Under the supervision of the supervisor on duty, they are also responsible for assisting and transporting passengers that need special assistance to and from their assigned gate or other airport location in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.

Qualifications:

* College undergraduate level or high school diploma or equivalent, must be able to read and write
* Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
* Familiarity with the use of wheelchair
* Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights, as this role often requires      24/7 coverage
* Preferably with experience in any airline or passenger services
* Able to follow aviation safety guidelines for transporting the physically challenged
* Ability to walk long distances, be on your feet for extended periods of time
* Lives within close proximity to the airport and/or with reliable transportation
