Job description:
As a Flagman / Laborer you are responsible for providing general support in production, maintenance, and operational activities. This includes assisting with material handling, equipment operation, monitoring production processes, supporting repair and construction tasks, and ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of materials. Works collaboratively to maintain efficiency, safety, and organization within the workplace.

Qualifications:

• Welding Techniques: Mastery of different welding methods like MIG, TIG, and arc welding, along with the ability to adapt to various welding positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to accurately plan and execute welding projects.
• Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating and maintaining welding equipment, cutting tools, and other related machinery.
• Weld Inspection: Ability to identify and address weld defects, ensuring the quality and structural integrity of welds.
• Cutting and Grinding: Skill in operating cutting and grinding tools for precise material preparation and finishing.
• Material Preparation: Knowledge of proper material preparation techniques, including cleaning, surface treatment, and edge preparation.
• Metallurgy: Basic understanding of metallurgy and heat treatment principles related to welding.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve welding-related issues, such as poor weld quality or equipment malfunctions.
