Job Description:
The Safety Officer 2 you are responsible for ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards, identifying workplace hazards, and implementing corrective measures. The role includes:

1. Conducting inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with OSH regulations.
2. Implementing health and safety programs, including training sessions and toolbox meetings for cooperative members.
3. Monitoring and enforcing proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
4. Investigating workplace incidents, documenting reports, and recommending preventive actions.
5. Assisting government agencies during safety and health inspections.
6. Ensuring timely submission of required safety reports to management and regulatory bodies.
7. Developing and improving workplace safety initiatives, including disaster contingency plans.
8. Promoting a safety culture within the organization through continuous education and compliance monitoring.
    

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• With Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certificate
• Proven experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in the manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Knowledge of OSH standards, government regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and provide quick resolutions.
