Asiapro Foundation Inc. (AFI) has wrapped up another successful Brigada Eskwela at Rosario Elementary School. This meaningful effort was made possible through the generous support of its dedicated partners: Asiapro Multipurpose Cooperative, which donated materials for the window grilles of 16 classrooms, and tipón Federation, which donated paints and tools for the repainting and cleanup of the waiting area for parents of Kinder to Grade 1. AFI donated eight sets of big books and art materials (i.e., glue, colored paper, scissors, and poster paints). All came together to share their resources for a common goal. The combined efforts and donations will pave the way for improved safety of school facilities and a better learning experience for Rosario Elementary School pupils.
As a collective group, we went above and beyond the request of the school Principal, Dr. Wilma Soriano, PhD. Her request was endorsed by the Pasig City Cooperative Development Committee, which called on all city-based cooperatives to participate by way of donation or involvement in the school’s Brigada Eskwela.
An estimated 1,300 students in Grades 1-3 will be directly impacted by the donations, a living proof that our Koop Damayan Program is our vehicle for volunteerism and a showcase of collaboration and cooperativism.
