This was the resounding theme of the tipón Gala Night 2026, an unforgettable evening where elegance met excellence. From a reflective afternoon opening to an exhilarating awards ceremony, the event was a vibrant celebration of our Cooperative's hard work, unity, and visionary future.
Here is a look back at the highlights, the numbers, and the incredible people who made the night shine.
The afternoon kicked off with an inspiring welcome address by our President and General Manager, Engr. Michael Gonzalez, setting a tone of faith and purpose centered around our 7 Pillars of Winning as a Team. He reminded us that our five cooperative principles—Common Good (Pangkalahatang Kabutihan), Initiative and Responsibility (Pagkukusa at Responsibilidad), Member-Centered (Miyembro ang Sentro), Concern for Others (Malasakit sa Kapwa), and Personal Excellence (Kahusayan sa Sarili)—must translate into actionable solutions.
Chief Finance Officer Sir Joerence Talampas then took the stage to deliver our 2026 Midyear Financial Report. He highlighted our robust P7.28 Billion in gross billings and a highly improved liquidity position, laying down a rock-solid foundation for our shared growth.
We also looked toward tomorrow with Ms. Jin-Jin Tan, who showcased our new ERP System. Emphasizing that we are moving from "System Development to Real-World Testing," she proved the system's readiness with an impressive 98-99% parallel testing accuracy across timekeeping, payout, and billing!
Our Business Platforms didn't just report their achievements—they put on a show packed with stellar results!
Excellence took center stage as we recognized the individuals and teams who go above and beyond to lift our Cooperative to greater heights.
Individual Excellence Awards:
Departmental & Special Recognitions: Chosen by our Operations team, these support units were honored for their outstanding service:
The Martsa ng Katipón Award (Culture Champion): The grandest recognition of the evening went to the Independent Manufacturing Group (IMG)! They were recognized for collectively embodying the core values, vision, and culture of our Cooperative across all facets of their operations.
Beyond the business, we celebrated our vibrant community life!
The night concluded with a powerful, forward-looking address by Chairman Sir Gary Quemado, who rallied us around the "Combined Arms" strategy. He introduced the newly established Project Development Office (PDO) as the spearhead of this initiative—reminding us that when we combine our different capabilities, resources, and skills into one coordinated response, we create an unfair competitive advantage. He also officially christened our new home: One tipón HQ.
Every achievement tells a story, and every story has its people. Thank you to everyone who made Midyear 2026 an extraordinary success!
