Asiapro Foundation, Inc. has been accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC)

Last October 25, 2023, the Asiapro Foundation, Inc. (AFI) received its  accreditation from the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC). The three-year certification is proof that “AFI passed PCNC’s standards for legitimacy, good governance, transparency, accountability, and quality service.” It will bolster the Foundation’s  initiative to secure internal and external sources of funding from a growing number of donors and fundraising platforms. 

AFI's  President Rafael T. Alvaran shares  the good news “Let me also affirm AFI's deepest gratitude to Asiapro Multi-purpose Cooperative for years of "hand holding" through substantial financial contributions and shared services, with the blessing of its Board of Directors and Management; anonymous coop member-owners who have been giving sacrificially out of their hard earned incomes; our special appreciation for Support Groups - the former Compliance & Internal Audit, Member Development, Finance & Accounting, IT and CAGS for helping them prepare for PCNC’s onsite evaluation; Sir Gary Quemado who championed AFI’s creation and continues to support its advocacy of easing the plight of marginalized coop worker-members, their families and communities; and the ever reliable, hardworking AFI Team of Abby Belza, Juvy Bitayo & Joy Sanchez, whose “blood, sweat and tears”, with unceasing prayers, finally brought home for us PCNC’s seal of approval."
